TBG Co-op

You are invited to participate in a bi-weekly gathering of families in the Tuscaloosa County, AL area to study art, handicrafts, poetry, music, folk dance, games, literature including Shakespeare, Spanish, and recitation in the pursuit of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness. We will use the life-giving principles and methods of Charlotte Mason for our lesson plans and activities. The gathering is for mothers and children of all ages to pursue a relational understanding of the things we study. A legal guardian must remain with the enrolling child for the duration of the TBG Co-op. Parents are required to contribute in some way. This could be teaching, assisting, clean-up, nursery duty, etc.

Date/Time: Our group will meet on [15 Fridays] in the fall and spring [from 12:30 pm-4:00 pm]. The meeting days include a Get-to-Know You Day and two Celebration days!

Hope Cottage Co-op

Hope Cottage Co-op offers free monthly events, on first Fridays, for homeschooling families including Charlotte Mason Enrichments, Nature Study, Field Trips, and Mom Time Book Study. All events are free. We do ask for a one time supply fee for each student to cover supply costs. We are located in Watsontown, Pennsylvania.

4. A Night of Recitation (name is tbd) which will be held during various times of theyear which will focus on wisdom from scripture, poetry, songs, soliloquy’s, folk dancing and excerpts from literature. Some themes could be Christmastide, For Love of Country, Poems and Songs of History, Comedy, Summer. This event will be opened to other local homeschoolers.
5. An annual craft fair with items made by students that are of high quality and craftsmanship.

Hello! As Utah transplants, our family is seeking to build a community near us. We are located in Brown County but welcome anyone who would like to come. We meet once a month but can meet more often if group members wish to! Our group is focused on outdoor Charlotte Mason-style learning, free play, and activities where the kids can romp around freely discovering their world and mamas can have some enriching adult conversation. We can adjust meeting places but initially, I am hosting meetups at our 1807 historic home and acreage. We are close to the Augusta KY/ Higginsport OH ferry and would like to do some adventures crossing the Ohio River on the ferry - a kid favorite! We hope you join us!
