The Feast of Wonders
To all Charlotte Mason Homeschooling Mamas in Greenwich and surrounding areas!
Starting on Tuesday, May 12th 2026, we are beginning a local gathering for families who are currently using—or are genuinely interested in—the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education and who desire to build community around a shared commitment to Christ and His Word.
The Feast of Wonders is a monthly time set apart for Mothers and children to come together and share in a “living education” through Nature study, Poetry, Music, Art, and focus on the Lord and Scripture. This gathering is especially suited for children ages 6 and under, though older siblings are welcome to join and enjoy the feast.
The purpose of this gathering is to cultivate and strengthen a Charlotte Mason community in our area—one marked by simplicity, beauty, and a shared commitment to this way of learning, and a like-minded community of families who seek to order their homes, education, and lives in submission to Scripture and a living faith in Christ.
Our afternoons will include a brief Chapel gathering for prayer, hymns and a short reading of the Scriptures. A nature walk to a nearby park for observation, journaling and snacks, and a gentle indoor time of picture study, music appreciation, poetry, and living book readings.
Every Month we will focus on a specific theme. The month of May will be "flowers".
Location: Greenwich - CT.
- Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Frequency: Monthly
(Possibly transition to a Bi-weekly/Weekly Co-OP in the Fall/New Year)
If you are a Charlotte Mason family—or are sincerely interested in learning more about this approach—we would be glad to connect with you.
Petra Classical
We offer a weekly parent-led co-op that aligns with Ambleside Online's rotation for hymns, folksongs, nature study, artist study, Plutarch, and Shakespeare. Additionally, we have a monthly book club for moms, as well as handicraft fairs for students twice per year.
Tiny Co-op
We have a tiny coop that meets in Clatskanie, OR to study Shakespeare together. Next year we are adding Latin and Plutarch as well!
Nature Group
We have a weekly meeting near Rainier, OR at Trojan Park
South Austin Homeschool Co-op

When & Where We Meet:
* Mondays & Wednesdays, 9 AM – 1 PM

What We Offer:
Our co-op fosters a love of learning through engaging activities such as:
* Nature study and walks, Bible lessons, and hands-on exploration
* Art, music, and movement

* Small group instruction, play-based learning, and more!
Who We’re Looking For:
We welcome families with at least one child age 8 or older by September 1st (younger siblings are welcome).
This is a cooperative learning environment—parents actively participate in teaching and assisting (this is NOT a drop-off program)
Peace Hill Classical Co-op
Peace Hill Classical Co-op students enter into the feast of a Charlotte Mason education on either Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays tracks in Yorba Linda for grades K-6th through language arts, history, science, Latin, and fine arts (artist, composer & poet studies, folksongs and handicrafts), and in Fullerton for 7th-12th grades in language arts, history, science, Latin, fine arts, math, logic, and rhetoric, and in dual enrollment tutoring classes.
Foothills LE Collective
Foothills Living Education Collective (FLEC) is a Charlotte Mason homeschool cooperative located in the Clemson, South Carolina area, meeting weekly on Thursdays from August through May. Grounded in Charlotte Mason's principles and a shared commitment to truth, beauty, and goodness, FLEC is a mom-led community where families learn side by side through living books, narration, and a rich variety of subjects. Member families implement Charlotte Mason's methods at home and participate fully in co-op life, including teaching roles and shared care of the community. FLEC welcomes form-aged children (6 and up) as well as preform siblings, and supports families at every stage of their Charlotte Mason journey, "however imperfectly." Charlotte Mason Community in Clover SC
Putting this post out there in hopes of finding local friends who are interested in supporting one another and cultivating a community of Charlotte Mason Homeschoolers in the Clover area. I am thinking we could start with a few playdates someplace in nature. 🌿
