ABLE Homeschool Coop Community

We are a cooperative community of Christian Charlotte Mason home educators who believe that delightful wisdom acquisition is accessible to students of ALL abilities! Whether a special learner or a traditional learner, we aim to help each child delight in the joy-filled journey of lifelong learning through: cultivating wonder in God’s creation, developing servant-hearted leaders, providing grace-filled discipleship, pursuing excellence in academics and enjoyment of life lived fully together! We meet as a cooperative for Charlotte Mason academic classes on Wednesdays during the school year in Lakeville. Throughout the summer we welcome new families for special events that take place at various locations in the Twin Cities. As Unto the Lord: A Charlotte Mason Gathering

Join us for a day full of wisdom and encouragement with Nancy Kelly of Sage Parnassus. Together we will dive into what Charlotte Mason said about habits, schedule and atmosphere and how to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to create peace in our homes. Refresh your mind and body as we hike together in the beautiful St. Croix Valley. Be inspired to continue the great work of the education of your children "As Unto the Lord''.

We are a group helping each other teach enrichment subjects to help us be accountable for them in our homeschool. We gather bi-weekly for 6 meetings for a fall and winter term. Participation in the Charlotte Mason Evening of Encouragement book discussion is required as well as parent participation.

Living Education Retreat

The Living Education Retreat (LER) is an annual weekend event that focuses on the philosophy of Charlotte Mason. People from all over the world gather to consider a living education through deep discussions, shared meals, outdoor activities, beautiful worship, and inspiring presentations. This is truly a retreat. We want it to refresh and revive your heart, soul, and mind so we practice the Charlotte Mason philosophy in how we form the retreat by scheduling time for pondering, processing, and playing. It will be July 7-9th, 2022 at Lake Koronis, MN. We are in our 16th year!
