Second Breakfast Club

Coming in 2026/27!

We are looking for like-minded Christian homeschooling families with children ranging from especially preschool to elementary school to join us for nature studies and living book discussions to start. We would love to build the program to include Upper School students as well. We would love for this to be an opportunity to make friends with other moms and families, have playdates, and the occasional "field" trip/nourishment activity.

We will meet in the Dauphin/Cumberland/Western Lancaster County area as well as other local spots for nature walks and outdoor book discussions as well as indoors for various studies as the needs present themselves.

Voyagers A Charlotte Mason Learning Cooperative

Hello~ We are a growing community of Christian Mothers committed to giving our children a beautiful home education that centers on Charlotte Mason's philosophy and method. We have a small learning cooperative located in Northern Westchester where we meet every other Thursday for "common subjects" followed by nature walks and journaling. Our students range in ages 6-12 years old. We are currently hoping to add a few more families to our co-op for the 2026/27 academic year.

Along with our learning cooperative our community of Mothers includes Mother's Education. We meet monthly for an online book club; A Thinking Love, where we study Mason's volumes together. Currently we are reading Home education. We also meet seasonally for gatherings on selected topics to grow and encourage one another as Mother Teachers.

We try to read in the literary tradition and read through a variety of genres, following a general model of Mason's mother's education course. Our group is grounded in shared Christian faith as expressed in the Nicene Creed. At Roots & Wings, we nurture wonder, wisdom, and wholehearted learning in a peaceful, home-based setting. Inspired by the Charlotte Mason philosophy, this two-day co-op offers young children a gentle and rich introduction to learning through living books, habit formation, music, nature play, and hands-on exploration. This Fall 2025 we will be starting a Preschool/Kindergarten Group. Not to mention a Parent Reading Group.

Long Island Christian Charlotte Mason Reading Group

We are a group of Christian Charlotte Mason homeschooling moms who have been reading the volumes together monthly since 2018. We meet once a month on Sunday night 7-9:30pm at our various homes throughout Nassau and Western Suffolk Counties. We get together with our kids for bi-monthly nature walks and other activities.
