Fall 2023 - We are starting a weekly nature co-op for homeschooling families - whether you use Charlotte Mason inspired books/curriculum in your home, or not! We will be meeting weekly through the school year for an explorative nature walk and free play, and ALSO meeting monthly for a book club and discussion group (book club is for parents but children are welcome to attend!).
All ages are welcome here! Our weekly meetings will be loosely structured with optional nature journaling and more involved wilderness activities/skills for older children. We will be primarily meeting at my family's campground (just outside of Morton), and once a month we will have an off-site field trip to various outdoor locations. Our current meeting time is Friday mornings from 9am-12pm, but we are flexible and open to other suggestions! If you would like to join and can commit to coming weekly please let us know if there is a better time for you.
The club is held monthly, in my home, and children are welcome to join. We meet the second Monday of every month at 4pm for discussion and potluck - please bring a dish/snack to share :)
We are a group of families striving to instill a love for God and His creation as we educate our children in the Charlotte Mason fashion. Nature Study is the bedrock of our co-op and we are adding other classes this year such as Nature Journaling.

Bluebonnet Home Scholars Collaborative: Homeschool Classes with a Difference
Bluebonnet Home Scholars Collaborative (BHSC), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit offering classes in the liberal arts tradition near Houston, Texas. Neither a school nor a co-op, BHSC exists to enrich the lives of homeschool families in the joint pursuit of wonder, knowledge, and love.
BHSC's hybrid approach unites families and experienced educators, and BHSC curriculum blends the best of contemporary research with the best of the classical liberal arts tradition.
Our ecumenical Christian community celebrates freedom in Christ and fosters a nurturing environment through small a-la-carte classes such as Nature Journaling, Forest School, and Handicrafts, as well as academic subjects like Latin, Spanish, and dual-enrollment humanities. Our college-preparatory Math and Science courses encourage students to behold the order and beauty of creation.
We invite your family to join us as we spread a broad, wholesome, and beautiful intellectual feast for our students.
We are a group of like minded Charlotte Mason mothers that meet monthly to discuss her volumes and other homeschool related books! We also love to meet for nature hikes and nature journal.
a majority of us use Ambleside Online and it would be a bonus!
