This is a new Nature Study group that will meet twice a month on Friday mornings rotating our visits to 4-6 locations in Reno, Nevada to observe their changes through the year. During our time together we’ll sing a creation hymn, have a short lesson on what to focus on, practice the habit of observation, walk and explore, and make time for nature journaling.
Tea with Miss Mason is a networking group of CM parents from Columbus, IN and surrounding areas. Our members provide CM bookclubs, nature study co-ops, and more. TwMM also offers workshops from time to time, see Facebook for updates.
Looking to organize a local group of parents and students into a support group to enrich one another’s lives. I’m willing to organize and head it up but I need to find like-minded folks, locally. I know a couple of families locally but we’d love to add to our numbers and see what we can make of it.
Round Rock, TX
Charlotte Mason Round Rock is a group of mothers reading through Miss Mason’s volumes together who meet at the nature preserve for discussion. Out meetups are child-friendly, and we welcome all who are curious in learning more about Charlotte Mason.
Children's Scholé is a Charlotte Mason co-op in Greenville, NC serving primarily families with children in 1st through 8th grades. We meet bi-weekly at a local park during the school year for formal lessons in enrichment subjects, as well as for nature study. Childcare is provided for the youngest siblings and there is an Early Years group for children ages 3 - 5. Registration is in early June and fees are around $50 per student for the year (16 meetings). The group also provides opportunities for parents to connect and learn together.
We are gathering English Speaking Families that appreciate Charlotte Mason Education for a Coop, Mother Culture's Tea and other beautiful activities. Join us in person in 2022.
San Angelo, TX
We meet the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month for nature hikes and occasional meet ups with experts (e.g. in insects, wildflowers, birds, etc). We meet one Wednesday afternoon a month to discuss three chapters of Charlotte Mason's volumes (currently volume 3 School Education) and to work on a handicraft together (moms learning the handicraft so they can then teach the children at home). During the reading group meet up, the kids play in the backyard/playground while the moms chat. As we get more older kids, we hope to add a Shakespeare reading group (or even putting on a play) for the kids.
Study group that meets on a monthly basis to study and share ideas for practical application of Charlotte Mason's philosophy of education within a home environment. We also gather together for nature study, hikes, children’s handcraft fairs, and other inspirational activities throughout the year with our children.
