Burlington, ON

Group for parents and students

Rooted in Riches Homeschool Community of Burlington/Oakville, Ontario

We are the beginnings of a group of families dedicated to homeschooling using the Charlotte Mason philosophy. Our goal is to connect with other parents and families who share this educational approach, offering fellowship and support as we explore CM methods together.

We hope to gather as moms periodically to learn and grow and encourage one another as CM mothers and educators as well as to help build smaller communities of parent educators and children in the area who will meet on a weekly basis to learn together with a CM approach, each parent presenting a portion of the feast to our children.

If this sounds like something you're interested in learning more about, we’d love to hear from you.

Tucson Charlotte Mason Community

This community is for Christian moms interested in understanding and applying Charlotte Mason’s philosophy. All levels of understanding are welcome! In alignment with Charlotte Mason’s philosophy, this group will adhere to a biblical worldview that the Bible is God’s Word and the final authority for our lives.

Attending at least three study group meetings each semester is the minimum requirement for participation in this community. Participation in any additional activities that occur is encouraged but optional. This group is not a co-op or school, and it is not about one specific curriculum. At this time, joining is free.

The group's purpose is threefold.
1) To equip moms to understand and apply Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of education.
2) To read through Charlotte Mason’s volumes in a study group.
3) To build a community of friendship and camaraderie between Tucson Christian families who use the Charlotte Mason method. This includes sharpening each other in the study group discussions and implementing her method in group activities.

OUR MISSION & VISION

THROUGH GOSPEL-CENTERED COMMUNITY, LIVING EDUCATION ENRICHMENT, AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP, LIVING LOVE COLLECTIVE EXISTS TO INSPIRE HOMESCHOOLING FAMILIES TO USE THEIR GIFTS AND TALENTS TO BE THE HANDS AND FEET OF JESUS.

CORE VALUES & BELIEFS
To nurture spiritual and creative growth that enriches the family through community, living education, creativity, entrepreneurship, and stewardship. These five goals and outcomes are the heartbeat of what we value and will pursue as we move forward.

Community: Cultivate and nurture a Christ-Centered Community to live in harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus. So that together we may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with one voice. (Romans 15:5-7)

Living Education: To enrich the family and home culture by pursuing knowledge, wisdom, and understanding through scripture, hymns, and the goodness and beauty of creation using a Charlotte Mason philosophy. (Colossians 3:15-17, Ecclesiastes 7:7)

Creativity: To grow creatively, realizing that we possess the creator's creativity and, through Christ's transforming power, will be fully equipped to be molded into our purpose to glorify God. (Genesis 1:27, Isaiah 64:8, 2 Timothy 2:21)

Entrepreneurship: Encouraging families to use ingenuity and imagination to tangibly pursue God-given giftings in every season of life and to model purposefully committing all our work to the Lord. (Proverbs 16:3, Colossians 3:23, Proverbs 3:5-6)

Stewardship: Stewarding our time, talent, and finances to further the mission to preserve the family and live out our lives in a meaningful and intentional way that is pleasing to the Lord. (1 Peter 4:10, Ephesians 2:10 Ephesians 5:8-10)
We are dedicated to our distinct beliefs, which are the core of our community culture.
