We are a Charlotte Mason homeschool co-op in northern Indiana that meets bi-weekly to spread the feast. Currently, we have classes for the Early Years (ages 3-5) through form 2, though we continue to grow. This is a parent led co-op, not a drop-off program, and moms volunteer where they feel comfortable, whether that's nursery, lunch clean-up, or teaching a class. Past subjects have included handicrafts, picture study, art instruction, and nature study. Our Early Years group is a play and nature based program that does a variety of hands on activities and nature walks, along with reading living books. You teach your own curriculum at home and come together with the group on co-op days for enrichment subjects. There is a small fee for building rental and classroom supplies with rental discounts for families with multiple students.

We are a community of home educators who our inspired by the Philosophy of Education laid out by Charlotte Mason. We are all at different places in our homeschool journey but we seek to be a support to families wanting to implement part or the whole of a Charlotte Mason education. We do this by offering continuing education for teachers in our bi monthly study groups. We help carry the teaching burden in our morning co-op. We form community and accountability
as we study nature together in our weekly afternoon Nature Club. We wish to provide oppurtunies for families to learn new skills at our special events. Together we help encourage one another to grow as both educators and parents.
This is a new Nature Study group that will meet twice a month at Oxbow Nature Study Area and other parks in Reno, Nevada. I am thinking of starting the walk with a creation hymn, a short lesson on what to look for, and then a snack picnic and read aloud halfway through the walk. Since this is a new group I would be open for suggestions on other locations and ideas.

The Wild Mockingbirds Tribe (WMT) was founded in 2016 and is the Charlotte Mason (CM) homeschool group in the Metro Area of Jackson, Mississippi. Building an intimate community to grow and educate their children following the CM method is the heart and goal of WMT. Member families have children of all ages, stages, and abilities who live as far north as Canton, as far south as Star, as far east as Puckett, and as far west as Vicksburg. WMT is active with multiple events occurring each week year-round, affording families the opportunity to participate in as many events as their schedule allows. Monthly events include a Mom’s Book Club, Kid’s Book Club, Charlotte Mason Volume Study, Recitation Affair, Nature Poke Around, and Mother’s Tea. Quarterly, WMT has weekend events for the whole family including camp outs and game nights. Because members are so geographically spread out, several events’ locations are rotated each quarter to a suitable venue near families’ hometowns. Driving is shared and families get to experience new locales they may not otherwise visit. The only membership requirements are following the CM method and active participation in at least one (real life) event per quarter.

We are a community of Charlotte Mason followers located in eastern Pennsylvania between Carbon County and the Lehigh Valley. The Charlotte Mason philosophy of education is one in which the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Therefore, while we do see value in other methods of education, it is the sole intention of this group to learn about and adhere to the philosophy of Charlotte Mason. In this way, we will gain a deeper understanding of each part of her method (each part being inherently valuable in its own right) so that our families may fully benefit from the whole feast of her method.
Membership to this group is limited to those who regularly attend our meetings. If you have a friend who is interested in joining our group, bring them! We are all about building a community of Charlotte Mason homeschoolers!
The goal of this group is to study and implement the Charlotte Mason method of education by:
1. Meeting the specific needs of people who are just beginning to learn about Charlotte Mason.
2. Reading through the Charlotte Mason’s original volumes and other supporting educational material.
3. Dedicating time to cultivating our personal “mother culture.”
4. Helping each other with the practical aspects of exactly how to teach lessons, what materials to use and how to schedule our days.
5. Creating an environment for our children in which they can partake of the feast with other children by going on Nature Walks, doing Object Lessons, Nature Journaling, working on Handicrafts, and other topics as the group sees fit.
6. Discerning which educational tools and curricula available in today’s market adhere to the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education and to be able to clearly elucidate for members which tools and curricula do not follow CM’s methods and how they deviate from her teachings.
7. Creating a pleasant, welcoming community that embraces each day as a treasure given to us by God

We are a small homeschooling group of Christians, together on this journey of raising the next generation for the Lord's work.
We meet every Lord's Day as a house church for worship; but also once or twice throughout the week both formally and informally in the spirit of the early church, sharing our lives, supporting each other in the call of creating healthy, ideas-rich, habit-trained homes and families upon the foundation of Scripture and the principles of Charlotte Mason.
