Searcy, AR

Cross Creek Cottage

We are a CM community located in Searcy, AR. We are a 501c3 and have volunteer and independent contract teachers teaching CM subjects. Classes and schedule vary with each term. We meet about 16-20 weeks per year once, twice, or three times per week. We host 2 nature hikes per month in Fall and Spring. Our signature classes that we have most every term are: Shakespeare, Ballet, Folk Dancing, and Liaterature. Our aim is to create the best possible atmosphere for kids to learn and for “Cottage” day to be every kid’s favorite day of the week. We also regularly hold CM Volume study groups for parents as well as the Natural State Charlotte Mason Retreat.

Winter Garden, FL

Ambleside Homeschool Cooperative Central Florida

We are a Charlotte Mason Homeschool Cooperative in Central Florida. We focus on ages 6 years to 13+. We meet every week on Fridays from 1-3 pm in Winter Garden. There is no fee right now except to cover supply cost.

Every year, our classes change based on interest and what we want to accomplish for the the year and who is available to teach. We are consistent with but are not limited to Hymns and Folksongs, Nature Study, P.E. (Folkdance/Swedish Drill/Neurological exercises), Art Study, and Recitation.

We are also making Chapters available with our co-op. This is based on location and who is available to lead. Chapters have only 12 families in them to keep them small and intimate. This is to ensure close relationships develop. If you are interested in leading a Chapter in Florida, we have a set of guidelines to help you in the process of starting. Chapters are customizable so you can pick which classes you'd like to focus on to serve those around you better. A bit of CM knowledge is required in order to lead a Chapter.
