We read through Charlotte Mason’s works on all things nature study and out-of-doors life together and we encourage nature journaling as well. Cherrydale Wednesdays is a group of Christian families who are committed to encouraging each other in studying and practicing Charlotte Mason’s methods of education.

We are a Charlotte Mason community which seeks to build fellowship and encourage learning with like-minded families using the Charlotte Mason method of education. We are a mom-led group, where each mom takes time studying a subject and then teaching that subject to a group of children ages 7+. Subjects have included folk dancing, Shakespeare, Hymn and Folksong, Recitation, Clay Modeling, Watercolor, Drawing, Beginner French, and more. Each semester (two per school year) brings new or repeat classes. We gather bi-monthy in a local church in the Colorado Springs area. Cost is minimal per family. We are currently closed to new families. If you are wanting to start your own co-op, we'd be happy to meet up and chat about that.
