Parent Study Group

Greetings fellow home school parents✌️
Are you looking to connect with other home educators in a meaningful way?
Let’s meet up!

Tue Nov 30th
6:30p
Please read the following article for our first group discussion:
Children and Books
https://www.amblesideonline.org/PR/PR00p000ChildrenandBooks.shtml

This parents-only study group is open to anyone looking to enhance your home school days. I’ve been longing to have a local community of Charlotte Mason educators to connect with. Through some conversations I’ve had I think there are people interested in this method so I decided to form a group based around Charlotte Mason’s work, however, all are welcome! Whether you currently home school or are just tossing around the idea, whether you are enrolled in a virtual school or not, whether you use a box curriculum or curate your own...you are welcome at the feast ☺️

Flourish Homeschool Community

Flourish is a learning community for North Georgia families interested in Charlotte Mason’s teachings on education. We seek fellowship between like-minded families as we present a wide feast of subjects before our children. We host bimonthly tutorial and monthly Natural History club.

This learning community is not designed to be another task completely separate from your regular daily schooling. Conversely, it does not replace the work you are already doing. Instead, it is complementary to that work, adding richness to your week through subjects like handicrafts, paper sloyd, and out of door geography and allowing the children an opportunity to participate in subjects that work better in a group, such as Shakespeare and singing games.
