Charlotte Mason Santa Cruz

Charlotte Mason Santa Cruz  is a community of home-educating families dedicated to implementing Charlotte Mason’s philosophy in their homes. All levels of understanding are encouraged and welcomed! In alignment with Charlotte Mason’s Philosophy, this group will uphold a biblical worldview, affirming that the Word of God is true and serves as the foundation of our beliefs.

Our purpose is to connect with other families who share this educational method through activities such as a parents study group (reading, discussing, and applying Charlotte Mason's volumes), bi-weekly nature study and educational outings.
*with more interest and participation this group can expand to include a broader range of enrichments/activities*

Parents attending 2 study group meetings per term is the minimum requirement for participation in this community. We are not a school or co-op, nor any specific curriculum, just CM families who desire community, fellowship and support on the CM journey.

Rooted in Riches Homeschool Community of Burlington/Oakville, Ontario

We are the beginnings of a group of families dedicated to homeschooling using the Charlotte Mason philosophy. Our goal is to connect with other parents and families who share this educational approach, offering fellowship and support as we explore CM methods together.

We aim to gather as a small community of parent educators and children on a weekly basis, broken up into 3-4 six week terms/year, to learn and grow in "the riches" of a Charlotte Mason education, including hymn, picture, poetry, composer study, and nature study, with some Shakespeare for the older children as well. The goal is to learn in community, each parent presenting a portion of the feast to our children.

If this sounds like something you're interested in learning more about, we’d love to hear from you.

New Co-Op

I’m looking for CM families to form a co-op that meets once a week. We would cover all subjects (math, geography, art, literature, drill, music, handicrafts, etc) so students would not miss an instruction day attending co-op. Moms would rotate teaching lessons and caring for younger ones in a nursery with toys and enrichment activities.
