Manitoba Charlotte Mason

Calling all CMers in Manitoba, Canada.

We host a monthly book club (currently online), reading through CM's Home Education volumes.

In the past, we have also held get-togethers with short presentations, or outdoor nature/play times at a provincial park, etc. in southern MB.

Twin Cities Charlotte Mason Community Group

This is a private Facebook group for Charlotte Mason parents/educators living in the Twin Cities of MN to connect and learn about in-person seminars, events, support groups, CM Volumes discussion groups, coops and retreats that are taking place near us. We are a community that is centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, homeschooling and the grace filled (not perfect) pursuit of following Charlotte Mason's philosophy of education wholeheartedly. We do not promote any specific CM curriculum but ask that any ideas/suggestions/gatherings posted on our group page are focused on this specific philosophy of education. We are here to encourage you, pray for you and help you find new friends along the journey! We hope to meet you soon!

Book Discussion group

Our Book Discussion group meets on a Saturday morning, once a month, at a local coffee shop. We come together to discuss an assigned portion of our current selection, which right now is: Mother Culture by Karen Andreola. We have, over many years, read through other titles such as For the Children’s Sake, A Charlotte Mason Companion, CM volumes: Home Education, Ourselves, Formation of Character… All are welcome! We’re finding this title beneficial for moms at any stage of life— even those “retired” from homeschooling and raising children. There is no cost for the group, but we do ask that you purchase a coffee and/or breakfast from the shop where we meet, as they are kind and gracious hosts and running a small business. The relationships grown from this group are priceless and we are always excited to add another kindred friend!

Covering Madison, Orange, Greene, Culpeper, and Fauquier counties, we offer a large CM community covering a range of interests -- CM reading groups, nature groups, a co-op, handicraft fairs, and more.

San Angelo, TX

San Angelo Charlotte Mason Company

We meet the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month for nature hikes and occasional meet ups with experts (e.g. in insects, wildflowers, birds, etc). We meet one Wednesday afternoon a month to discuss three chapters of Charlotte Mason's volumes (currently volume 3 School Education) and to work on a handicraft together (moms learning the handicraft so they can then teach the children at home). During the reading group meet up, the kids play in the backyard/playground while the moms chat. As we get more older kids, we hope to add a Shakespeare reading group (or even putting on a play) for the kids.
