Duncan, SC

Willow Creek Gathers Co-op

Our co-op is a mother-led co-op of families that are involved to teach and support each other's children and parents. We laugh together, as well as cry together because that's what this group has become, community united and linked like a family.

We are a group in the upstate of SC, meeting in Duncan, to provide a living education, education is the science of relations. We view children as a complete person and teach them with rich curriculum and help them grow with gentle formation of knowledge and character. Charlotte Mason summed up her teaching in three words, beautiful, expansive, and efficient.

Outside of co-op days, we want to 'do life' with each other and connect frequently. In addition, the moms meet regularly for the sake of the children to learn more about the Charlotte Mason method as well as strengthen our bonds. Family nights are also offered as it's vital for the whole family to have a supportive community and socialization.

Charlotte’s Web Online Co-op

Charlotte's Web Co-op provides a safe learning environment for children in grades 4th and up to learn and share ideas with others with teachers who have a passion for their subject area. Following Mason’s philosophy of learning, lectures are not present here but serve as a guide to help facilitate the class in the children’s pursuit of knowledge. Knowing that many do not have the opportunity to meet locally we hope to bridge the gap. We also desire to share the load with moms who are feeling overloaded in having to provide the full feast Mason describes. We want to partner with you and help provide a well-rounded education for your children.

Colorado Springs, CO

Woodlandshire Co-op

We are a Charlotte Mason community which seeks to build fellowship and encourage learning with like-minded families using the Charlotte Mason method of education. We are a mom-led group, where each mom takes time studying a subject and then teaching that subject to a group of children ages 7+. Subjects have included folk dancing, Shakespeare, Hymn and Folksong, Recitation, Clay Modeling, Watercolor, Drawing, Beginner French, and more. Each semester (two per school year) brings new or repeat classes. We gather bi-monthy in a local church in the Colorado Springs area. Cost is minimal per family. We are currently closed to new families. If you are wanting to start your own co-op, we'd be happy to meet up and chat about that.
