Group for parents and students

 

NE Portland, OR Christian CM community

I would love to start a CM christian community here in NE Portland OR. It would be awesome if everything falls into place for the upcoming September (the 2026-27 school year).

Frequency of meeting: TBD (I am game for whatever works depending on the community formed)

Cost: gas to get location (atm, I would say I am looking at a home based community)

My husband is very sensitive to fragrance (perfumes/lotions) so as a home based community we would be "fragrance free"

Curriculum thinking to be used would be "Ambleside Online"

Would be fun to cover as a group: Nature study, Artist/composer/folksong/hymns, maybe a devotional time, maybe geography, maybe Grammar, maybe book-clubs for kids & parents

I've tried ads on this site before and people reply (possibly bots?) but then no one responds when I email them back.

But, I try again because community is important.
