The Faithful Feast – A Charlotte Mason Co-op

We meet on a bi-weekly basis during the school year. Meetings are an opportunity for mothers and children to build community while practicing a Charlotte Mason education. Activities include recitation, learning a folk song, doing a picture study, drawing in a nature journal, and working on handicrafts together. Older students read Shakespeare plays out loud and study Plutarch. Activities are designed to interest and accommodate students from a variety of ages, including younger siblings. We are in the process of developing more classes for students in middle school and high school.

Sophia Society

We are the Sophia Society for the Convivial Study of Pedagogy. This book discussion group is for the classical Charlotte Mason mother who takes her work seriously and herself lightly.

This spring 2026 we are reading and discussing "Poetic Knowledge" by James Taylor and "A Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens.

We communicate daily using the GroupMe app and also meet in person several times a month for book discussions, homeschool planner sessions, and social events. We've also started a private weekly co-op aligned with the Ambleside Online curriculum.
