A Rich Inheritance

A Rich Inheritance is a community rooted in the educational principles of Charlotte Mason. We believe the purpose of education is to prepare children to be able to know, glorify, and enjoy God by putting them in touch with the truth, goodness, and beauty of His created world. We currently offer a Nature Club on Tuesdays and Mother's Charlotte Mason Book Club on the second Thursday of every month. We currently have children 5 and under attending the nature club but open to older students joining in.

Cultivating Education: CM Book Club

Once a month mothers gather to discuss a chosen book (a volume by CM or books by Karen Glass, Cindy Rollins, etc.). If we are unable to meet for book club on the 1st Wednesday, we may hold a mother culture event that month. To view our schedule and join our mailing list please visit our website.

St. Augustine, FL

Out-of-Doors Nature Club

We are a small structured nature group in St. Augustine, FL. Our meetings are bi-weekly (every other week) at the moment but some have expressed interest in meeting more often. We pick a special topic each term and meet-ups start with a short, casual lesson on the topic before exploring and adding to our nature notebooks. Option to stay after for lunch and free play. There are a few optional nature notebook supplies recommended and a small supplies fee. We meet both at my house and various parks in the St. Augustine area.

We are also looking to start a more formal one-day-a-week enrichment co-op using the Simply Charlotte Mason Together curriculum at the start of 2026. If you are interested in teaching one of the enrichment subjects, please let us know which subject (peruse the SCM Together curriculum on their website for subjects). We are happy to run a monthly Charlotte Mason book group concurrently so we can all learn the Mason philosophy and how to best implement it.

All ages welcome for the Nature Club and co-op.

Arlington, TX

Commonplace of Arlington

This is a discussion and support group for parents who are interested in or are already using the philosophy of Charlotte Mason in their home school.

We will start in August of 2025 with "Start Here," a study guide by Brandy Vencel. This is a great study for new-comers to the philosophy, but it also has plenty to ponder for the experienced. We will have time each meeting to talk about what's happening in our own home schools and celebrate the good as well as share ideas for those trouble spots. Meetings will be one Saturday morning each month.

Reach out for more details and tell me why you are interested in joining a Charlotte Mason discussion group. Looking forward to getting to know you!
