A community of families pursuing the true and good life through a CM lifestyle and education. Our community is centered on our Mama Book Club which meets monthly to discuss and grow through CM writings and conferences. Our community currently offers an Academic Co-op, Natural History Club, Experimental Science Club, and a Scouting Club. Applications are open on a rolling basis and admission is available between each term if spaces are available.

We're a group of moms just starting out and also more experienced. We are working our way through readings focused on Charlotte Mason's 20 principles. We meet once a month to discuss what we've read.
We also have a monthly nature walk and I organize Recitation Nights quarterly for families to share their work.

There are a few families in our area that homeschool with a Charlotte Mason method of education. We read Charlotte Mason's volumes and try to implement her gracious philosophy of education into our homes. We also have a local nature club, handicraft market, Shakespeare group, and Mother Culture book group, open to all homeschool families whether Charlotte Mason style or not. We hope to grow in our understanding of her philosophy and method of education and our hearts and minds are shaped by the feast of ideas through living books.

Charlotte Mason Book Club

Our group begins reading through one of Mason’s volumes each summer. Parents and children meet at my home in Greenville Texas, bi-weekly. Children play outdoors while parents (and babies) stay inside to discuss the chapters.

During the school year, we transition to a parents-only monthly meeting, in the evenings, to finish the volume.

Readings are split up and assigned at the beginning of the summer. Feel free to jump in any time.
