Central Ohio CM Discussion Group

We are a group for those interested in the teachings and philosophy of Charlotte Mason. We read books by Charlotte Mason or about Charlotte Mason and discuss how to apply her ideas to our lives. We meet the third Saturday of the month at 8am in Westerville. We are currently reading In Vital Harmony by Karen Glass.

Charlotte Mason Book Club

This is a Mom's book club meeting monthly. We have been meeting Sat mornings at local coffee shops. We are slowly reading through Volume 6 and sometimes pair another book with that as well (just finished Atomic Habits). Jump in any time!

Novato, CA

Charlotte Mason group

There are a few families in our area that homeschool with a Charlotte Mason method of education. We read Charlotte Mason's volumes and try to implement her gracious philosophy of education into our homes. We also have a local nature club, handicraft market, Shakespeare group, and Mother Culture book group, open to all homeschool families whether Charlotte Mason style or not. We hope to grow in our understanding of her philosophy and method of education and our hearts and minds are shaped by the feast of ideas through living books.

Charlotte, NC

Sophia Society

We are the Sophia Society for the Convivial Study of Pedagogy (with Tea). This book discussion group is for the classical Charlotte Mason mother who takes her work seriously and herself lightly.

We invite you to join us in reading and discussing "Know and Tell: The Art of Narration." Author and homeschool mother Karen Glass shares an immensely practical survey of Mason’s central educative method. Amply illustrated by real-life narrations from students of all ages and abilities, as well as helpful charts and lists, this book is both a wonderful introduction and an invigorating review, to get us ready for a new school year.
