Charlotte Mason Austin

We’re a small group of Charlotte Mason families in Central Austin.

I would love to help get you connected with other families using the Charlotte Mason philosophy in their homeschool in and around Austin, TX.

We offer a once a month Thursday evening mom meet-up to read through one of Charlotte Mason’s volumes during the school year.

There are one-off events for moms and kids to connect as well.

Additionally, there is a weekly parent led co-op (not a drop-off program) –

Vison: A gathering of families that are learning together using the Charlotte Mason educational philosophy with the understanding that the Holy Spirit is the ultimate educator and authority that we serve. We are not a supplemental co-op. The co-op day will support and compliment your weekly academic endeavors as much as possible in the time we have together. The offering can vary some year to year and by form (grade) depending on current needs.

When & Where We Meet:
* Friday afternoons during the school year, 12:30pm-2:30pm
* Westover Hills area (Northwest Austin)

What We Offer:
Geography, Shakespeare, Folk Song, Phys Ed, Natural History, Spanish, Sol-fa, Handicrafts are some of the subjects we’ve done together

We currently have ages from baby through 8th grade (form 3) – the oldest child in your family must be 6 by August 1st (younger siblings welcome) and it should be noted our younger grades (1st – 3rd) are generally at capacity.
