Living Education Retreat

The Living Education Retreat (LER) is an annual weekend event that focuses on the philosophy of Charlotte Mason. People from all over the world gather to consider a living education through deep discussions, shared meals, outdoor activities, beautiful worship, and inspiring presentations. This is truly a retreat. We want it to refresh and revive your heart, soul, and mind so we practice the Charlotte Mason philosophy in how we form the retreat by scheduling time for pondering, processing, and playing. It will be July 7-9th, 2022 at Lake Koronis, MN. We are in our 16th year! Cross Creek Cottage

We are a CM community located in Searcy, AR. We are a 501c3 and have volunteer and independent contract teachers teaching CM subjects. Classes and schedule vary with each term. We meet about 16-20 weeks per year once, twice, or three times per week. We host 2 nature hikes per month in Fall and Spring. Our signature classes that we have most every term are: Shakespeare, Ballet, Folk Dancing, and Liaterature. Our aim is to create the best possible atmosphere for kids to learn and for “Cottage” day to be every kid’s favorite day of the week. We also regularly hold CM Volume study groups for parents as well as the Natural State Charlotte Mason Retreat.
