Charlotte Mason Monterey Bay

Charlotte Mason Monterey Bay is a community of home-educating families dedicated to implementing Charlotte Mason’s philosophy in their homes. All levels of understanding are encouraged and welcomed!

In alignment with Charlotte Mason’s Philosophy, this group will uphold a biblical worldview, affirming that the Word of God is true and serves as the foundation of our beliefs.

This group’s location is ideal for families in the surrounding Monterey Bay Area/ Central Coast communities of Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito Counties.
Our purpose is to connect with other families who share this educational method through a parents study group (reading, discussing, and applying Charlotte Mason's methods), bi-weekly nature outings and quarterly educational outings.

*Please note*
Since Charlotte Mason’s Philosophy is the foundation of the group, we will be studying her volumes together. Therefore, participation in our monthly study group (parent) is REQUIRED to be a part of this community. We are not a school or co-op, nor any specific curriculum. This group exists for CM families who desire community, fellowship and support on the CM journey.
