Magnolia Schoolhouse

Magnolia Schoolhouse is a conservative Catholic faith-focused Charlotte Mason homeschool co-op. We are parent-run and led, focusing on children of all ages from preschool to 12th grade.

Magnolia Schoolhouse believes in the old schoolhouse mentality, where many children of varying ages can learn together and from each other. We offer weekly outings and weekly group co-op lessons where children can build friendships and socialize, as well as meet-ups for nature study and art and even weekend family day trips. We also give support to parents who are homeschooling for the first time or homeschooling multiple children in the Catholic faith, along with Charlotte Mason's methods and philosophies. We believe in building a community of like-minded families where our children can grow and thrive together.

Charlotte Mason Inspired Classes

Charlotte Mason classes are offered at The Bending Willow Academy in Thousand Oaks for ages 6-12 by Jenny Elias. The school is a homeschool co-operative, but the classes taught by me are strictly Charlotte Mason based. I have been a CM educator for over 18 years. I also teach a CM high school pod at the Thousand Oaks Teen Center.

Deeply Rooted Academy

The Deeply Rooted program is specifically tailored to support the committed homeschooling mom, uniquely designed to provide margin in the already assiduous week. We work in tandem with parents in their homeschooling journey, moving forward TOGETHER, communicating as we go.

Parents can be confident knowing your child’s education is consistently being provided for in safe and secure, grace filled environment. Students participating in the program have the opportunity to form meaningful connections with educators and classmates in our two day a week drop off program.
