A Humble Place home lending library is an ever-growing private lending library run by a veteran homeschool mom. Open Hours are scheduled 1 day/week; private appointments can be scheduled for those that can’t make it during Open Hours. Let me curate books and resources for your studies or pleasure reading! Let me help you find joy in reading, as well as in providing quality and inspiring reading material for your family! Registration and cost involved ($10/month). The library also hosts occasional events such as Conversazione Teatimes and Book Clubs.

We are called to serve our community by providing Christian creation based and wholesome resources such as books, audio books, magazines, games, homeschool curriculum, CDs and DVDs. We also provide patron programs such as story time, books clubs and summer reading programs. We aim to be a Christian alternative to the public library serving our community in a multitude of ways.

I run a small, private home lending library made up of both contemporary and vintage living books, although I strive for all of our books to emphasis the good and beautiful sentiments of yesteryear, with a focus on Christian/Judeo values. Our catalog currently contains 2200 books, but our inventory is constantly growing. Annual membership costs are $75.00/year. To check out books, please attend an orientation meeting and fill out our membership agreement and make payment. We would love to introduce you and your children to the gems in our library.

Fisher Library at the Avenue

The Fisher Library at the Avenue is a living books library serving families in the Texas Hill Country since 2016. The library opened with Sunday Afternoon Conversations - discussions and sharings about living books. Beginning in the autumn of 2021, the library will begin hosting Book Flicks - an outdoor film series based on book titles housed in the library as well as a monthly story gathering for children featuring art and nature projects.
