Arrows of Heritage Homeschool Group
Raising and educating children in faith, wisdom, and purpose, honoring Psalm 127:3-5

Christian Based
Family-Style Learning
Inspired by Charlotte Mason

Our Mission:
Arrows of Heritage Homeschool Group exists to equip and inspire families in their homeschooling journey by providing a Christ-centered, community-driven environment where children grow in faith, knowledge, and character. Inspired by the Charlotte Mason philosophy, we emphasize ideas and concepts that inspire critical thinking and personal growth, fostering a love for learning through living books. We also encourage spiritual growth by integrating Scripture study, prayer, habit training, nature study, service, and gratitude, while fostering character development and reflecting God's presence in daily life. In doing so, we are raising and educating children in faith, wisdom, and purpose, honoring Psalm 127:3-5.

Our Purpose:
This group is a shared interest community, founded by a homeschooling mother, committed to supporting families on the rewarding yet challenging path of homeschooling, inspired by the Charlotte Mason philosophy. We emphasize high-quality, engaging lessons within a supportive, faith-centered community that values learning and fellowship. While homeschooling is central to many families, it is a demanding task that requires a community to encourage and exemplify what day-to-day at-home education can look like. Whether large or small, families often have one parent teaching and guiding each child in a home setting. The beauty of the Charlotte Mason approach is its shorter, focused lessons that maintain children's attention and prioritize quality over quantity in learning. Our group, rooted in faith and the call to raise children in the way of the Lord, offers a family-style learning environment. This group has been organized as a model to encourage at-home education

Winter Garden, FL – Nature Group

Hi! I'm looking to join (or maybe start with another mom) a simple CM preschool nature group, with siblings welcome! Meeting monthly, exploring different parks/preserves/etc. around us, and perhaps doing a story time or some handicrafts as well. My oldest is almost 4, and second is 2.

Sacramento Nature Outing

I'm looking to start a CM Nature Outing and possibly a mom's group for "Schole" and learning together. I envision the Nature Outing meeting 3 times a month (Tues 12-3 OR Fri 11-2) with a monthly mom's night (2nd Monday evening @ 7pm). I have 5 girls and have been homeschooling for 12 years, was homeschooled myself, and have 12 years to go, as my little just entered kindergarten. We recently moved to Sacramento and I'm looking forward to making new friends and adventuring in the NorCal beauty of creation. Let's explore the beauty of Sacramento together.
